Shareware means the distribution of software and programs on the basis of an honor system. Most shareware-authors usually requests the user to pay a small fee if you like the program and use it regularly. Sometimes it happens that every time the computersystem starts the shareware-program reminds the user (e.g. pop-up-window) to pay the fee. After paying the fee the user receive a code (usually via e-mail), that give the user the information how to eliminate the reminder.
